Jaws of Life

When the demons begin
to instill fear within
they'll encounter a frenzy of fins.
And upon your chest
they'll be laid to their final rest.
The still waters run so very deep;
And from the ocean’s floor the monsters creep.
Your fierce defenders
will quickly render
a violent defeat
upon those foes with their serrated teeth.
In times of great stress
you mustn’t remain motionless.
To do so is to court death.
You have too much to do before
you draw your final breath.
The shivers will disperse.
Situations could be worse.
When the darkness intensifies
remember your allies.
Sometimes outside your field of view,
nonetheless always with you.
Even in blackest night
you can find the moonlight.
