Anime, it is my passionate obsession for the past 20 years. I share my passion for the medium and culture with the club that I have ran for over a year now.
Brave on occasion, sometimes I face conflict head on. Other times I avoid it.
Civil. I can work well with others even if I don’t like them.
Diabetic. My horrible dietary habits came back to bite me in the ass, now I struggle with changing them to cull the onslaught of the disease.
Exceptionally positive self-image. It is great for self-esteem but has been a barrier to my weight loss. I'm comfortable in my body and see little reason to change it.
Fun. I do my best to entertain people wherever I go! My laid back personality makes it easy to get along with new people.
Good. My parents raised me to be kindhearted and nonjudgmental of others. Because of this I have more close friends than the average person.
Helpful. I am eager to help those in need whenever possible.
Intelligent. I've worked hard to avoid being labeled stupid. Nothing enrages me faster than being talked down to and/or treated like a child.
Japan. I am fascinated by its culture and hope to go there someday. It is a dream that I fear may never come true.
Kids are often afraid of me at first but they warm up quickly. I would like to have at least one someday but I'm not sure it is in the cards for me.
Logical. I tend to look at things very logically. Some people love it, some don't.
My parents are the source of a lot of the stress in my life. Aside from our conflicting political beliefs they have a tendency to treat me like a child.
Nephews, I have four. Hayden, Henry, Kannon, and Max. Hayden and Henry are my biological nephews; Kannon and Max are from my honorary family via my brother from another mother, Brian.
Optimistic. I always try to look at the positive side of everything.
Procrastination is the bane of my existence. I've struggled with it my entire life and have yet to find an effective strategy to combat it.
Quick, witty comments often entertain and shock my friends.
Respectful. As long as it doesn't negatively affect me or those close to me I am a firm believer in the saying “To each their own.”
Sleep often eludes me. I have always been primarily a nocturnal creature. I'm lucky if I get 3-4 uninterrupted hours of sleep per night.
Tristan is the name my parents chose. It came from James Harriet books.
University of Northern Iowa is where I will be transferring to in all likelihood.
Vegetables are not something I like to eat, unless they are swimming in cheese.
Writer’s block is something I battle constantly.
X-Men is one of my favorite comic book franchises.
Young at heart. I am selectively mature. You’re only as old as you feel!
Zaftig is my preferred body type when it comes to the ladies.
